GIF (تنسيق تبادل الرسومات)

GIF هو تنسيق صور نقطية يشتهر بدعم الرسوم المتحركة البسيطة. يستخدم ضغط LZW بدون فقدان لكنه محدود بلوحة ألوان من 256 لونًا لكل إطار. لا يزال GIF شائعًا للمقاطع المتحركة القصيرة وصور ردود الأفعال والرسومات البسيطة.

يستخدم GIF ضغط LZW بحد أقصى 256 لونًا لكل إطار. تتحقق الرسوم المتحركة عبر تخزين إطارات متعددة مع إعدادات تأخير وتصرف لكل إطار.

التاريخ

تم تقديم GIF بواسطة CompuServe في عام 1987 وأصبح أحد أولى تنسيقات الصور المستخدمة على الويب. تم إصدار نسخة GIF المتحركة (GIF89a) في عام 1989.
